Centred on NC 739 077, along the summit and flanks of a moorland ridge, are numerous stony heaps typical of hut circle-associated field clearance.
Visited by OS (J M) 28 April 1981.

There is a scatter of small cairns, measuring up to 4m in diameter and 0.3m in height, on the heather-covered crest and NE side of a well-drained ridge. The ground between the cairns on the crest of the ridge is very smooth. Several cairns are visible within the peat on the NE side of the ridge.
