Full Description

NC15NE 2 1973 5893.

NC 197 588. Rubble walling, stone clearances and a number of stone-edged house platforms are situated here on a craggy slope. The platforms are 18ft by 48ft, raised 2ft at one end; 15ft by 20ft; quadrilateral roughly 35ft by 25ft, raised 3ft at one end, and several others less evident.

Centred NC 1973 5893. Remains of enclosed and embanked irregular plots, varying in size from 8m by 5m to 22m by 10m, cleared from lower slopes of rocky boulder-strewn hillside; some accompanying heaps of cleared stone. Probably abandoned 18th/19th century.
