NC81SW 43 centred on 837 105

Fearach: the ruins of several dwellings situated a short distance N of Greeanan. The walls stand only a few feet high (Name Book compiled 1872).

Footings of about six buildings from 7.0m by 3.0m to 25.0m by 5.0m. Visited by OS (RDL) 28 April 1964

A township comprising five unroofed buildings, an enclosure and a ring-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1879, sheet xcvii). Four unroofed buildings, a circular enclosure, a field and a length of wall are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1969).
