Full Description

There is a possible souterrain at Dalnamain. There appears to be the outline of a passage, and lintel stones in position can be seen.
Information contained in letter from Elizabeth R Mackay, Tigh Beag, Rearquhar, Dornoch, IV25 3NE, to OS.

This would appear to be a well-preserved kiln-barn of pre-1811 date and associated with the depopulation around.
