The mutilated remains of a sub-oval enclosure or hut circle measuring about 14m NW-SE by 12m and consisting of a turf-covered bank of earth and stone some 3m wide and 0.6m in average height, was discovered during field work. The entrance was probably in the SE where the bank is mutilated.
Visited by OS (W D J) 22 June 1963; Visible on RAF air photograph 541/A/464: 4223-4.
This hut circle has been damaged and obscured by ploughing and afforestation. The bank to a large extent is visible.
Revised at 1:10,000.
Visited by OS (J B) 30 August 1976.
