(NC 432 518) A group of eight ruins called Airidhean Dubhaidh shown. OS 6"map, (1961)
There are the remains of at least eighteen shielings along the sides of a stream, dimensions ranging from 4.0m by 3.0m to 9.0m by 3.0m; some are turf and stone footings, others show bare stone walling in some instances up to 0.8m high.
Resurveyed at 1:10,000. Visited by OS (J M) 7 November 1978.
Eleven unroofed shieling-huts are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet xxiv), but only eight are shown on the current OS 1:10,000 map (1961).
