Full Description

Record downloaded from RCAHMS who have given the building a site type of 'Manse' but no reference to this building ever fulfilling this function can be found. It is probable that RCAHMS have confused this building with the Latheron West Church manse located approx. 90 metres to the west. The building is more likely a 18th-19th century longhouse incorporating house and byre. It is first depicted on the 1st edition 25" OS map <1> <2>.
