OS 6"map, (1962)

Enclosure.
R W K Reid 1968. <1>

A sub-oval enclosure, situated on low ground NW of the northern inlet of Loch Borralaidh, found and classified as a hut circle by the previous field investigator. It measures 5.0m NE-SW by 4.0m internally. It is delimited in the SW half by a limestone crag up to 1.5m high and in the NE by intermittent toothed or pointed slabs on edge averaging 0.5m high and backed by a small scatter of stones. No entrance is visible. The location and structural details of the feature are most unlike those encountered in hut circles.
Visited by OS (J L D) 10 April 1960 and (J B) 27 November 1978.

Remains of enigmatic structure, tucked into right-angle quarried face in side of outcrop. Gap between edges of quarried face is bridged by a turf- and bracken-covered double-skinned stone wall base, c 2 m wide. Some of the stones are orthostatic The area enclosed measures 3.85 m N/S by 5.4 m internally.
Possible prehistoric structure. Marked enclosure on O.S. map.
Low lying ground at mouth of Hakon's Bowl, near north-west shore of Loch Borralie. Overlooks mouth of bowl.
Recommendations: Control bracken. <2><3>
