Centred at NC 589 015, on a south facing hillslope in open moorland, is a settlement of four stone-walled hut circles, A-D, within an associated field system. The huts appear broadly similar in construction, though in contrasting condition. The internal diameters vary from 7.5m to 8.0m. All that remains of hut 'A' is the east arc of walling, 0.4m high and spread to 2.0m, the west arc being barely distinguishable.
'B' is the best-preserved within a wall of bare rubble stones faced inside and out with upright stones giving a width of 1.5m. The position of the entrance is uncertain though there is a gap in the NW arc.
The wall of hut 'C' is 1.5m broad, widening to about 2.5m at the entrance in the south arc.
Hut 'D' has a wall width of 1.5m widening to a 3.0m spread at the SE entrance which is clubbed. Within the hut against the north wall is a segmented compartment formed by a single line of stones, similar to that feature inside hut-type V at Kilphedir (NC91NE 25).
Some 125.0m SE of hut 'B' is a possible hut, visible as a fairly level platform 9.0m in diameter on the summit of a knoll. There is a total absence of stones around the periphery hence the doubt.
The field system, occupying four hectares, is distinguished by extensive tumbled walls which form a pattern of large sub-rectangular enclosed areas, in which are some lynchets and clearance, both heaped and linear, but in insufficient density to indicate measurable cultivation plots. About 35.0m SE of hut 'B' is a crude sub-circular enclosure, about 5.0m in diameter, inserted into one of the field walls and constructed out of the content.
