Full Description
NC25SW 4 2260 5063.
At NC 2260 5063, set back into the brow of a rise in a pasture field, is a hut circle some 12.5m in diameter overall. It is completely turf-covered, but a protruding slab in the W quarter could be an inner facing stone. The wall is most pronounced in the N sector where it is spread to 3.0m broad by 0.4m high; elsewhere it is much depleted, becoming almost non-existent in the E arc where an entrance could have been. In the interior, about the centre, is a low, amorphouse heap of stones that is probably dumping. There is no evidence of associated land use.
Surveyed at 1:10,000.
Visited by OS (J M) 9 June 1980.
