A M Fox, Highland Council, 23.11.01

NC50SE 61 5747 0230.

At NC 5747 0230, on a slight rise in the plain of the River Shin, is a poorly preserved hut circle. There are no signs of associated land use. The hut measures approximately 11.0m. diameter over a turf-covered wall-spread up to 0.4m high on the exterior where occasional facing stones are evident; a depression in the WSW arc probably indicates the entrance position.
Surveyed at 1:10 000.
Visited by OS (J M) 12 June 1981.
