Full Description

At NC 5657 0483, on a dry knoll in low-lying moorland, is a stone-walled hut circle within a minor field system. It measures 6.0m NW-SE by 5.5m transversely within a low peat-covered wall spread on average to 2.0m wide. The entrance in the SE arc is blocked by some displaced slabs. Signs of associated culti- vation are restricted to linear clearance around the south and east margins of the knoll, and one or two clearance heaps. No measurable plots are discernible.
Surveyed at 1:2500 and 1:10,000.
