NC13SW 2 1479 3150.

(NC 1479 3150) Mill of Glenlirag. (Approximately at position of building shown as Glenleraig on OS 6"map, 1878.)
J Home 1774-5.

The ruined mill, which measures 7m by 4m is of drystone walling, 1m thick and 2m maximum height. There is no trace of the wheel nor of mill stones, but collapsed rubble indicates the now dry channel of race and stream.
Visited by OS (F R H) 21 May 1962.

No mill can be located at the position indicated. The only mill found in Gleann Leireag is at NC 1555 3098 (see NC13SE 8).
