NC60NE 5 6764 0674 and 6752 0665

At NC 6763 0674, on the margin of a depopulated area (NC60NE 12), is a hut circle, measuring 8.0m diameter within a wall reduced to a turf and heather-covered rubble spread, 2.0m broad and up to 0.3m high; the entrance is in the east. There is no evidence of associated cultivation. Surveyed at 1:10,000.

There are two hut-circles, about 130m apart, within the head-dyke of the township at Collinstown (NC60NE 12) on the N bank of the Lettie River. That to the NE at NC 6764 0674, which was previosuly recorded by the OS in 1980, measures 8m in diameter within a stony bank spread to about 2m in thickness. The entrance lies on the E. The SW hut-circle, at NC 6752 0665, which measures 10m in diameter within a stony bank spread to a similar thickness, has an entrance on the SE.
