Enclosure (NR) (Site of) OS 6"map, (1961)

The mutilated remains of a small enclosure, possibly a hut circle, discovered during field investigation within the newly planted Syre Forest. It has been almost destroyed by deep ploughing and all that remains to denote the perimeter is a scatter of stones and, in parts, the suggestion of a slight bank 0.1m high. It has measured 11.5m in diameter and no entrance is now apparent.
Visited by OS (J L D) 11 May 1960.

These remains were not identified.
Visited by OS (J M) 25 July 1978.
