(NC 612 416) The remains of an unnamed depopulated settlement, presumably one of those cleared in 1814-18, since it was on the Duke of Sutherland's estate and was in ruins by 1874.

This is a deserted township comprising the footings of two large buildings, 23.0m by 4.0m and 30.0m by 4.5m, with adjoining enclosure, and three others 6.0m by 5.0m, 9.0m by 5.0m and 11.0m by 5.0m, the last with a semi-circular enclosure 7.0m across springing off the angles of the E end. There are associated field banks and tenuous signs of rig and furrow. The whole is within a head bank. To the S are three bothy-type footings, ranging from 4.5m by 4.0m to 7.0m by 3.0m, and a probable corn-drying kiln at NC 6131 4140.

A small township comprising one unroofed, long building and three other unroofed buildings is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet xliv). Two unroofed, long buildings and six other unroofed buildings, an enclosure and part of a head-dyke are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,000 map (1992).
