NC65NE 7 6613 5874.

At NC 6613 5874, on a peat covered gently sloping south facing hillside, is an incomplete series of stone rows covering an area approximately 18.0m by 10.0m. About twelve stones are in situ, while others have been displaced. The stones are generally upright, pointed slabs protruding up to 0.35m through the heather. Two probable rows are discernible running NNE-SSW. Disturbance of the peat on the west and east sides of the rows has probably removed further stones. An amorphous, low, heather covered mound of probable natural origin is situated at the north end of the site. Erosion has revealed a small number of stones of varying size in its body.
Surveyed at 1:10000 Visited by OS (J B) 28 August 1978.
