This is a hut circle situated among a cluster of shieling-type structures (NC63SE 9) in flattish, open moorland on the north bank of a river. There are no signs of associated cultivation. The hut, set into a slight slope and completely grass-covered, is 9.5m diameter inside a wall spread to 1.5-2.0m broad; an entrance is from the SE quarter. In the interior there is disturbance, distinguished in the north half in an arc of banking or walling, 4.5m long, concentric with the hut wall. Revised at 1:10,000.
