Recorded as an observation post or pillbox by the Defence of Britain Project (UORN 14982). The circular stone structure is depicted on the 2nd edition of the OS 25-inch map, (Sutherland), 1901.

A snecked rubble circular building with an entrance orientated W, away from the shore. Its use is unclear but most likely to have been a store or shelter.
