Full Description

NH59NW 9 5451 9991.

Discovered during field investigation at NH 5451 9991, conspicuously placed within a field system (NH59NW 10) is a heather-covered cairn about 6.5m in diameter and 0.8m high. Half a dozen stones of the kerb survive round the periphery. The centre has been howked out exposing one or two earth-fast stones on edge which may represent a disturbed cist now mainly obscured by debris.
Surveyed at 1:2500. Visited by OS (J M) 25 September 1974.
