Full Description

NC33SW 1 309 330.

NC 308 330. A settlement composed of six foundations, one oval 5.0m by 0.3m, others rectangular, 7.0m by 3.0m and 6.0m by 3.0m, and one 3.0m in diameter, lies on knolls on the 600 ft contour W of a meeting place of paths.

At NC 309 330 beside a stream is a group of five shieling bothies, now represented by turf and stone footings as described by Welsh (T C Welsh 1970). Two small enclosures built into the base of the cliff to the NW of the shielings are probably sheep pens.
