Full Description

Centred on 1485 4860.

A group of six footings, averaging 0.6m high, two of which are longhouses, the larger being 21.0 by 4.0m. One of the structures incorporates a corn-drying kiln. Associated are enclosures and field walls.

A township comprising three unroofed long buildings, one of which is attached to an enclosure of two compartments, is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1876, sheet xxii) and on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1963).
