'Kilroy': named on Roy's map. W Roy, 1747-55, sheet 34/4.

No building footings here. Visited by OS (JM) 27 May 1980.

This site was previously located at NC 263 440, however it seems likely that it should be located at NC 269 434 which appears to correspond to the settlement marked on Roy's map and called Kilroy.
