ND15NE 8 199 593.

A document concerning the situation in the Earldom of Caithness was drawn up, probably by a cleric, at Scarmclet, Caithness (ND 199 593) in August 1375. At a later date Scarmclet formed part of the archdeacon's lands, and it is possible that he had a house there. (See ND15NE 4 and 6.)
