Full Description

The tenant of Carna reported 'cups' on a rock-shelf by the edge of the sea on the north tip of Carna.

NM 6218 5994. Some two dozen 'cups', some in close groups, mostly circular, some oval, varying between 6 in and 9 in in diameter and from 4 ins to 6 in deep.
These are not Bronze Age cup-marks.
Visited by OS 1 June 1970

24 cups in the rocks, situated on level rocks close to the sea.
