Full Description

This site was recorded by Mr Keith Godfrey of Sutherland Archaeological & Historical Society in 1985 and reported to the Highland SMR in correspondence to Mr Bob Gourlay. He records a 'cup-marked boulder' lying on the west bank of the Kilbreck Burn 'heading south'.

A boulder in this area - seemingly the same site, but lying on the east side of the burn - has since been visited by Nick Lindsay (May 2005). Dr Lindsay records that the 'cup-marks' are natural features having the appearance of three cup-marks that have resulted from the split of the boulder.
