Burials found AD 1840 (NAT)
OS 6" map, (1970)

In 1840, while some men were trenching this field, they came upon a tremendous lot of human bones which appeared to have been depositgd in a ditch and then covered in.
Name Book 1873.

No further information Visited by OS (J B) 7 December 1981.
