Full Description

Lying between the Torrin Estate boundary fence and the Allt na Dunaiche, close to the lower of two large waterfalls, at about 114m OD is a massively built stone structure. The walls which still stand to a height of 1.5m are built of massive boulders and measure 1.6m wide at the top. The interior of the structure measures 4m x 3m and access is by a well defined opening 0.75m wide in the E-facing long wall. The site which has amazing outlook over the head of Loch Slapin is visible from afar as a large bracken covered mound.
Visited 1991.
