Full Description

Information received from the Forestry Commission (date unknown) suggested that only one ruin of a square building was visible at NH 442 601. Agreed management consisted of scrub clearance to the roadside and 10 metres around the ruin. <1>

The same area has subsequently been surveyed by NOSAS and found to comprise four buildings and two enclosures. The drainage of the settlement has been grossly affected by the construction of the road and is now very marshy. See individual HER records for details. <2><3>
