Full Description

Park of Urchal. Two ruined buildings are shown on Roy's map, but no dyke, and also on the 1869/70 OS map which positions and orientates them with the presently existing dyke in a manner that seems to fit possible footings on site. Hard to establish their position due to grass growth and field clearance stones.
See assoc. docs. File for SMR No. NH74SW0062.

What may be a farmstead comprising two unroofed buildings is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Nairnshire 1871-4-6, sheet vi), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1975).
