Full Description

The lodge was built as the centre of an extensive deer forest of some 250,000 acres used by an American Walter Winans who had the deer driven to Braulen to be shot. The date of the present lodge is not known. An abandoned building at NH 2376 3875 is probably the Ice House marked in 1758.
