Circumstances of Loss Details
The site is reported to be a Wellington bomber which is presumed to have crashed during World War II.

Surveying Details
22 November 1989. The site was located in the charted position and dived upon. Part of an aircraft wing was found containing two engine cowlings, therefore it cannot be from a Wellington bomber.

15 November 1984. The site was located at decca [n scot] red i 1.3, purple a 76.2.

29 September 1981. The site was located at NGR eastings 452875, northings 6394645 on 6 August 1981. The side scan sonar indicated a height of 7 metres in a general depth of 42 metres. The vessel is believed to be an aircraft. There are many scour marks on the seabed.
