Full Description

P.M. 26/07/96.

A dam noted by J Wood during a DBA in 1995 prior to a woodland creation scheme. Near Ryvoan, there was a dam of 18th or 19th century construction that is featured on the 1863 1st edition OS map. <1>

A dam noted by C Dagg in 2007 during a DBA and walkover survey in advance of a woodland creation scheme. The wooden remains of a sluice held water into a silted and vegetated lochan to the southeast. <2>
