NH 927 171
The building recorded here was shown as roofed in 1867-9 and within its own enclosure. The enclosure has now disappeared but the building survives as well-preserved stone footings 13m long by 4m wide. The building is aligned NE/SW with an entrance on the SE and a possible entrance on the NW.
Other buildings are suggested nearby as shown on Fig 7
Birches grow on and adjacent to this building and aspen seedlings are drifting in from the SE. There are rabbit burrows to the E. See Fig 15
