Full Description

A large rectangular structure, 6.50m NE-SW by 5m, is set into a slope in the angle between the B8044 road and a private track, c. 150m NE of Kentra pier (SMR NM67SW0004). It consists of mortared stone walls, 3m high on the SE external side. An arch, 1.90m wide and 1.70m high, opens in the SE side and leads to a smaller arch 1.05m behind. The inner arch, 1.10m high, narrows from a width of 1.20m to 0.75m before opening into the bowl interior. The bowl measures 2.60m in diameter at the top.
Deciduous scrub masks the front of the building and one tree of significant size is growing in the interior.
