Full Description

This is a Wade-style military bridge, but of unknown date, spanning the Muckle Burn. Constructed of stone, it has a single span and is 4.1m wide in the centre.
Visited by OS (RB) 5 January 1966.

1750-55. Single span hump back bridge; harl pointed rubble; dressed rubble arch ring and parapet; long eastern approach causeway. <1>
