Full Description

Four possible square-ditched enclosures were seen on 1992 APs held at the NMRS, in a field near Torbreck Farm. They were mentioned in the report of a watching brief undertaken in the same field in 1998-9 by Cannich Archaeological Services. It was thought that they may represent possible ploughed-down burial mounds. One of the features (numbered '9' on Figure 2 in the report) appeared to have a central feature as well. <1>
