Full Description
At NC 9539 6397, in open moorland, is a hut circle, 7.5m in diameter, within a heather-covered wall spread from 2-2.5m by 0.5m high; the entrance is in ESE. There are indistinct traces of a structure abutting the S exterior. SE of the hut is a sinuous stretch of associated walling. In the general neighbourhood are old banks, probably contemporary with the ruins of a farmstead 150m SSE of the hut circle (NC96SE0076). Surveyed at 1:10,000.
Visited by OS (J M) 17 August 1981.
