1st ed OS shows gardens & policies largely to E of house. Planted parkland around this. GR given is to the most eastern end of the gardens, walled garden centred at GR 171998845615. Other policy buildings includes kennels and icehouse. Grounds are described as bering in the "English" style with beech woods. The policy trees depicted on the 1st ed are substantially gone now - HAW 5/2003
