Full Description
Perhaps the earliest dated barn in Scotland, and certainly the earliest dated farm building in Wester Ross. Constructed by Alexander and Janet Mackenzie, who were married in 1730, the barn contains a loft door lintel with their initials, coat of arms and date. (Beaton 1992 p. 97)
