Full Description
This building was formerly Category C(S) listed, but was removed from the statutory list in November 2011. The building was formerly described on the statutory list as follows:
"Dated 1828. 2-storey and attic house, 3 wide bays. Coursed, dressed red sandstone with cherry pointing, tooled and polished ashlar dressings; harled flanks. Off-centre entrance pilastered and corniced doorpiece and doubled
leafed door. Deep band coursed between ground and 1st floor; also eaves lintel band. 2 piended dormers; mainly 4-pane glazing. Decorative scroll skewputts, dated at left; corniced end stacks; slate roof." <1>
The building was delisted because upon reassessment it was found that the extent of changes to the building meant that it did not meet the criteria for listing. <2>
