Full Description

A horse-shoe shaped structure of drystone walling, possibly a boathouse, beside the loch. It measures 5m E-W by 2m across and stands eight courses high.
R J Mercer 1980.

NC 9378 6549. An unroofed boathouse or shelter of relatively recent construction, standing intact 1.5m high. Bore holes at the open end, facing the loch, indicate a former gate or door.
Published survey (1:10,560) correct. Visited by OS (JB) 7 9 1981. <1>

The site was visited and photographed by D Glass in July 2008.
