Field System [NR]OS 1:10,000 map, 1971.

(Formerly classified as deserted settlement and field-system; reclassified as farmstead and field-system). Centred at NH 973 381 on the E-facing slopes of Carn a' Cheathraimh Mhoir is a field system marked by stone clearance heaps and lynchets. Two typical fields measure 30m by 15m and 50m by 40m.
Near the centre of the system is a near square depopulation enclosure, which is probably contemporary with a ruinous rectangular building two other near square enclosures about 300m to N. A circular rim of stones, undoubtedly a robbed clearance heap, lies immediately outside E corner of this enclosure.
Visited by OS (A A) 29 February 1972.
