A township comprising ten unroofed and eighty roofed buildings is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet xvi). The township is shown as twelve unroofed and fifty-five roofed buildings (one of which is a church and one a smithy at NC56SE 22) on the current edition of the OS 1:10,560 map (1962).
