A township comprising five unroofed buildings, of which three are long buildings and one of these is L-shaped, and two enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet x). Four buildings and two enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,000 map (1987).
