This site was visited by Roland Spencer-Jones of the North of Scotland Archaeological Society on the 21st of March 2014. The site was located on a gentle north facing heather slope above the deserted settlement of Baddhu, with Loch Dola in the background. It comprised of a circular structure delimited by a ditch and outer bank. The bank was mostly covered with heather, whereas the interior was thickly vegetated with coarse grass and reed. The overall diameter of the structure, from the external edge of the banks, was 21.2m from north to south and 20.6m from east to west. The bank was approximately 2m in width, varying in height from 2.8m in the west to 1.9m in the east. It was lowest in the south at 0.75m in height. The ditch was approximately 2m in width; it was silted and shallow, with the area most obvious and deepest in the north-east at approximately 0.3m. There was a 2.5m wide entrance through the bank, with a causeway over the ditch due east. Spencer-Jones suggested that this was likely to have been the site of a henge, although at 206m OD it was higher than most. <1>
