Full Description

NG85NW 22 814 575.

A possible deer trap (eileag) is formed by a natural funnel between two Gneiss outcrops. A dry stone dyke appears part of the way across with a small gap in it. Up the gully from this are two small stone settings which may have been hides. The settings are built against the rocky outcrop on the W side and another shelter exists further up on the E side. In an area where deer are common. Not measured.
