'Burnt Mound ?': no details given.
J Wordsworth 1991 <1>

A probable burnt mound 11m x3.5m exposed x 80mm thick was identified during observation on the route of the Nairn to Inverness pipeline. Fill of angular fire-cracked stones in charcoal-rich silt. It lacked a cooking trough to be seen as a 'classic' burnt mound but was clearly created by the same process of heating stones and then dropping them into water. <2>
