A farmstead comprising one unroofed long building of four compartments and one enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet x). One unroofed building with two comprtments and one enclosure is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10,000 map (1987). This farmstead is part of West Shebster township.
