An unroofed building, which may have been a shieling-hut, is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Sutherland 1878, sheet xiii). The building is not shown on the current OS 1:10,000 map (1988).
Information from RCAHMS (FO) 9 August 1995.
An oval sheiling-hut on a N-S axis lying on a raised bank some 2m above the river and measuring 3.7m by 2.8m. The walls are up to 1m thick and mostly heather covered. There is an entrance 0.6m wide facing the south-west. In the grass covered interior a single stone 0.5m long is well embedded in the soil.
